Senior Gameplay Programmer

We’re looking for a programmer to take over the position from another Lead / Senior Programmer on Gas Station Simulator project, who will moving in to a different role / project. There will be a transition period of training for the role lasting between 3-6 months with support to fully be able to take over the responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Prototyping and creating gameplay mechanics, features, systems, maintaining game-related codebase, writing designer tools, preparing (already automated) builds for releases, working with designers, artists and marketing teams in creating fun and engaging gameplay.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of work experience in programming (preferably in game development fields, or mixed experience at least)
  • Understanding blueprints to the point where you are able to port Blueprints to Code
  • Ability to break down game designs into technical specs and systems that are portable between projects
  • Ability to speak and understand English (International Team)
  • Ability to feedback game design from a technical perspective
  • Ability to follow established code guidelines and Unreal Engine Coding Standard
  • Ability to read existing game codebase and integrate new mechanics into existing projects
  • Writing maintainable code

Big +:

  • Having base experience in Unreal Engine / Unity or comparable game engine.

Gameplay Designer

We’re loooking for a Gameplay Designer with a relentless passion for crafting immersive and memorable gaming experiences to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for conceiving and developing immersive gaming experiences that resonate with players and enhance their gaming adventures while aligning with the game’s overarching vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and prototype gameplay concepts that are enjoyable and also consistent with the game’s overall direction. Ensure that the gameplay is fun, balanced, and compelling.
  • Continuously refine and improve gameplay mechanics based on feedback.
  • Define and prepare gameplay documentation including core game mechanics, rules, and interactions.
  • Work closely with UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance gameplay and the player’s experience
  • Collaborate with the Design Team and Creative Director to seamlessly integrate ideas and uphold the game’s vision.
  • Work on site at the headquarters

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Game or Gameplay Designer
  • Proficient design and analytical abilities, with a talent for creating engaging and well-balanced gameplay experiences.
  • A deep understanding of game mechanics, player behaviour, and the elements that make a game captivating.
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with an emphasis on innovative solutions.
  • An authentic passion for games, with a particular interest in exploring new gameplay opportunities.
  • Knowledge about industry trends and its best practices.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
